The European project AI4Media will deliver the next generation core Artificial Intelligence (AI) advances to serve the sector of media, society and politics. More specifically, 30 leading partners from 16 EU countries will establish the networking infrastructure to bring together the European AI landscape in the field of media. Also, an Excellence Centre -as an ecosystem- will be established during the project that will provide a long-term basis to support of AI excellence in Europe, aiming to ensure that Ethical AI guided by European values assumes a global leading role in the field of Media.
ATC will lead the actions for the creation of a principal validation hub, between the research community and the industry, and will be part of the use case dedicated to social media analytics for tackling disinformation, by providing the technological interface on which related AI. Finally, ATC will also lead the exploitation efforts during the project.
The project started in September 2020 and has a duration of 48 months.
