PROTECT is a Horizon Europe Innovation Action funded under HORIZON-CL3-2025-01-INFRA-01, aiming to strengthen the resilience of European Critical Infrastructures against modern, cascading hybrid disruptions.
The project develops the PROTECT Recommendation Decision Support (RDS) platform, a unified, AI-powered framework supporting risk assessment, situational awareness, interdependency analysis, crisis prevention, response and recovery. The approach is validated through three Critical Infrastructure pilots covering space infrastructure, hydropower, and road/tunnel infrastructure.
The consortium brings together 13 partners from 8 European countries, including research institutes, universities, industrial end-users, SMEs, large enterprises and NGOs.
ATC acts as Project Coordinator and also contributes as a technology partner, leading activities related to risk assessment (classification, filtering, prediction) and the advanced UI for the Common Operational Picture (COP).
The project started in October 2026 and will last for 36 months.
