GADMO is co-funded by the European Union’s European Health and Digital Executive Agency (HADEA). GADMO 2.0, a continuation of GADMO, is a disinformation hub that operates under the EDMO umbrella. Focusing on Germany and Austria, continues the fight against disinformation by combining the expertise of major journalistic fact-checking organisations with targeted scientific research and analysis. It will also continue to draw on, and simultaneously feed into, the wider community of organisations and individuals concerned with the mitigation of disinformation. This community includes civil society, media outlets, academia, and responsible public-sector authorities.
Consortium members are the following: TU Dortmund University, dpa, APA, AFP, Correctiv, AIT, and ATC.
ATC still operates and maintains the Truly Media platform. It will also revamp and operate the project website, which publishes fact-checks, News, media-literacy and research articles.
The project started in May 2025 and will last for 30 months.
