CEDMO 2.0, like its predecessor CEDMO, aims to develop & research technological & AI-based fact-checking solutions that will improve human-machine cooperation & fact-checking effectiveness. The network’s operations will be mediated by the analysis of the impact of disinformation on society & democracy. It will continue to implement media literacy education & campaigns backed by research & analysis, while also cooperating with national authorities in monitoring online platforms policies & digital media ecosystems & propose recommendations on how to improve disinformation regulation & related policymaking. The aim of CEDMO 2.0 is to continue the success of CEDMO, a highly experienced hub against disinformation for the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia.
