MODAPTO is an EU funded project that envisions a new Europe with flexible industrial systems- composed of modules- enhanced by distributed intelligence via interoperable Digital Twins (DTs). The project is based on industrial standards aiming at materializing reconfigurability through the joint use of the principles of Reconfigurable Manufacturing Systems. MODAPTO Project aims to develop a Toolkit for Optimal Modular Production and Reconfiguration that facilitates seamless module integration by advancing DT standards & interoperability.

ATC coordinates the project and leads the dissemination actions. In terms of technical implementation, ATC is leading the actions of Deployment of DTs and their Integration with existing systems.
The project started in January 2023 and will last for 36 months.
